I added my information to the spreadsheet. Did any one on here receive a courtesy copy of the NOA instead of the original copy? We used an attorney so it said the original notice was mailed to the attorney. We used an attorney for the initial GC as well and we received all the notices and never got a courtesy copy.

this happened to me too but the attorney said they have my actual copy so I am going to get a copy of that before the greencard actually expires so my husband can have it if he needs it.

I see from the spreadsheet that other people assigned to the Potomac service center have been sent the biometrics notice, but we have not.  Is this normal?

It can take several months to receive a notice about biometrics, and from what I have seen from past cases and pending cases, the timing of receiving the biometrics letter is not really an indication of how fast or slow your case will reach the interview/approval stage.

Well, let's see what happens, as of right now we're looking at a 2 year wait, but who knows...

We submitted the I-751 on November 22. Our personal check was cashed about a week later but we did not sign up for email or text alerts.  We temporarily just relocated to NC to help sick family and have done a change of address with USPS.  I am worried that our NOA might not be forwarded.  For those of you that got the first NOA on your ROC via the mail, did the envelope say "Return Service Requested?"  Please let me know.  Thank you.

We submitted our paperwork on 11/29 and received our NOA1 on 12/11 - it was dated 12/7. I've seen some fast approvals on the timeline, fingers crossed we can be that lucky!

@reneenumbertwo - our envelope did not say return service requested.

Hi Guys

Today I saw that my application went through the USCIS system and my credit card was charged on the 16th. I am waiting for the NOA1 now.

I worried after I saw here many applicants going ahead with the process. I think USCIS piles applications that have a problem and every 4 weeks they update the system with rejection notes if the application submitted has a problem. In my case, I did the mistake of submitting two payment forms.

I hope I will receive my NOA1 soon.
