Sent in our packet last week on the first day of eligibility, it was received the day after, and I just received a text saying my case was received.

It’s getting processed at the Texas Service Center, which has a wait time of 6-9.5 months which is a lot faster than expected so fingers crossed!

We didn't include the reminder notice in our packet. It probably won't hurt if you include it, but it didn't seem necessary.

Thanks for sharing!  Quick question:  how do we set up text notification?

Thank you so much, everyone!

My package was delivered (with corrected 'pay to' information in  money order) on 18th. Got a text update just  now from USCIS that pacakage is received and the case receipt no. Starts with LIN . I am not sure if they will be sending a separate reciept no. For my daughter or not.

UPDATE: So today i got NOA notice extending greencard for 24 months for my daughter ONLY. Weird enough that i got text message for my receipt no. And not for her on 22nd. And now i got mail in post for her only and not for me. She has different reciept no. Than mine atleast that much I know. Both of us have LIN
