Hey old user do you know where I can find today's SRC update for 2021 filing

You need to search cases using some USCIS tracker app (there's multiple available for IOS and Android). You probably need to search a lot of cases to find the ones that SRC is working on.

Thank you for the link, it gave me a better understanding too! I pretty much found the pattern randomly by browsing cases, but now it makes perfect sense. I didn't know how to read Computer Workday set of digits.

Now that I’m thinking about it Computer Workdays don’t make much sense to me though. Fiscal year and case number - yes, but not workdays. If receipt starts with 22900 how the heck can 900 be a workday?! There is only 365 days in a year 🙂 And I applied late October, first month of their new fiscal year, surely it cannot be a workday #900…hmmm

What do I miss here, did you understand it better?

Yes, 900 doesn't add up 😅

USCIS started the 900 day number as soon as case processing times went beyond bounds.

I feel bad for all the people not assigned to WAC, I really do!

Very happy for you finally getting an approval! 🎉

I still think though it's a matter of luck these days. There's a bunch of WAC cases back in 20-21XXX ranges still unapproved (mine included) and not everyone got a 48-months extension letter (me included) 😆

We're WAC too from March 2021 and we're stuck on fingerprints status since October last year.

Oh well.

Looks like your case is severely delayed, with fingerprints in October 2022.

November 2021 filers mostly got their fingerprints reused in April 2022. And you being from March 2021 makes the delay even more ridiculous. Can you / did you raise service request?

Ugh. Did you file N-400 yet? I sure as hell hope you'll hear from them soon!

Not yet.

I think the fingerprints status was a glitch as prior that it said the case was ready to schedule an interview.

I'm honestly fine if they keep sending extension letters. :P

Thanks! Hope so too.

It has never been our plan to file for naturalization.

Sometimes I think they delay things just to force people into doing that?

I'm not sure if it necessarily was the case before the beginning of this year. Now it does look like a lot of N-400 interviews are being scheduled relatively faster, and I-751 are still unapproved before that. Could be linked to an upcoming election next year.

It's good that you got your extension letter (I assume you got 48-months one?) Gives some peace of mind if you aren't interested in naturalization. They better take an action on your case before this ridiculously long extension is over!

Thanks again!

It totally makes sense it being linked to elections.

We got the 48 month letter and I'm so cheap that I'd be fine with extensions for life -rather than renewing the card every 10 years-. 😅

I think there's no harm in raising a service request when your case is out of normal processing times. It's done online, for free, and hopefully result in somebody looking at your case again. I'd do it if my plan wasn't to naturalize. So that 10 year GC finally arrives.

Our re-use notice was Dec 29, 2021, and received date was Dec 1, 2021.
