1O YEAR GC INTERVIEW

first interview after being married 7 yrs, any one gone to interview in 2021 and if process post covid is any different from previous? and how much paperwork e,g bank statements, bills, pictures etc should  i bring given length of marriage to avoid over kill...3 months?

Please clarify what interview you mean, so I can move this thread to the appropriate forum.  Are you a 2-year GC holder, awaiting interview for removal of conditions?  Or are you awaiting IR1 visa interview outside the US?  Or adjustment of status interview in the US for your first GC?

For my citizenship interview (July 2020) in Raleigh/Durham NC I was directed to a room that had an ipad type device and the entire interview was done via that with someone in another room within the same building. Occasionally he sent things to the printer for me to write on and then got me to hold them up to the camera. This enabled us to do the interview mask free (I'd required one to enter the building but was asked to remove it once into the interview room). I'm not sure whether other locations use same process, whether its still in use (now that we have a vaccine), or whether GC interviews would be conducted in the same manner.

anyone gone to a adjustment of status interview post covid? the notice says to bring a blue or black pen, does anyone know what its for or if the interview process is different now ?

I would not worry about overkill. They want to see evidence since the time you met. You probably want to keep it big picture since you have been married for 7 years. I would still bring whatever you have to the interview. Everything should add up 

The question about the pen - it is possible that you may be in a different room. If the officer notes any changes or corrections on the forms, you will have to sign acknowledging the changes. Therefore, they probably want you to bring your own pen. It's probably just a safety measure.
