My USCIS Priority date and NVC priority date is different !

My USCIS priority date is different with my NVC Priority date.

USCIS is 25.january 2021

NVC is 15 March 2021.

Is there any problem with that I thought the both agencies should work on the same priority date. If this is important or serious or will affect the or delayed my case. Please help me.

CR1/IR1 visas are not numerically limited and therefore the PD is not used in assigning available visas.  It is a matter of record to keep track of your case and also to determine if your case is beyond normal processing times.

 

If your petition is at NVC then the PD doesn't really matter.  The next important date is your DQ (documentarily qualified) date.

if your case went to NVC in March then that's the date they recd

Yes thank you so much.

My i-130 was approved by uscis in May 7.  And Uscis priority date was 25. January 2021.

NVC received my case in May. And they put 15. March on my priority date.
