Afternoon all, I have my interview next week and just trying to gather all my documents.

Do we need to take a copy of the affidavit of support along with tax returns/W2's. It says on the Travel.State.Gov website You do not need to bring your Affidavit of Support or financial evidence you submitted to NVC, however reading a few posts on here people have said to take them?

Those documents will be uploaded to NVC and your interviewer will be able to review the affidavit of support in your online file. Originals are not required. If for some reason they can’t find a document, London interviewees have been told to go home and upload again.  Those that had copies with them were still told to upload.

They will want to see the originals of your personal civil documents like birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce decree, etc.

I uploaded my documents to CEAC twice and the embassy told me to email them to them as they couldn't see them, so I did.

I still had issues with my father-in-laws tax return showing up in the system, and they didn't have one of my police checks either. I took an absolute mountain of copies (along with the originals) and I handed the missing ones over to the officer. No problems at all doing that.
