This reply is new. I haven't seen anyone get this one before. This came in response to us sending a reply email to the one they sent, instead of writing a new one.

I have received the above response before from a reply to my email.

Oh, ok. Thanks for confirming. It was a nice break from the monotony...even though it still gave no further insight into the case.

The feeling when you see a message from the Embassy is good until you discover that is the same copy/paste response.

Hello

First time posting on visa journey. Please excuse me if I am at the wrong space.

EB1 category and attended interview at Montreal Consulate on October 14. Received DS5535 the same day by email and responded by October 15th. Few updates since October 29, Nov1, 4th and Dec 17th. Nothing since. Anyone here with E1 category?

Hello! So far, I haven't seen anyone in that category. If you look at my signature (on desktop version of the site) you'll see an excel sheet linked. All most all of the users on this thread are listed there. I can add you if you'd like, perhaps others from that category will join this thread in the near future.

Thanks, yes, this is a place where we can share our experiences. Medical expires on March 23rd. Just like another person who is in this waiting game whose medical expires on March 20th.

Police certificate was extended last year by NVC and now it’s valid for 2 years, the problem it’s the medical.

We are also EB1 waiting for our interview.  If the DS5535 did relate to your medical, and your medical was valid at the time of the interview, it would seem unreasonable that they would fault you for their delay in processing.  Were you just missing an original document?  There is also a separate forum for EB's and a spread sheet with our timelines.
