I honestly can’t understand what’s going on with @ice-qube @Redie and @deep2ca’s files….

Has Montreal put them on some high up shelf and forgotten about them?!!

Have any of you got your senators/ congressperson involved?

And don't forget about me! My interview was on November 3rd :(

But I got the congressman involved and it was a super generic response they gave him (he forwarded the response back to us) and no luck there. My last update was January 7th and at this point I am not sure what else I can do.

If by miracle they settle my case in the next month, I am going to have to cross over to US to immigrate and then come back soon after to settle everything. There will be no real choice, because the medical, and therefore the hypothetical immigrant visa, will expire on March 20.

Another day ends and no CEAC updates or emails.

Hope you status change ASAP maybe this or next week, that way maybe you can settle everything before move to the U.S, I don’t want to face that situation, I have a little more than two months remaining.

you have been updated more than I have. Regardless, we are both stuck in this seemingly bottomless pit. Ugh.

ME!! I had a follow-up interview!!! So my first interview was weird, they completely skipped my number & was waiting for ages before I eventually went up to window 6. They then called me on the intercom. They were asking me about my work history and phone numbers and where I lived when I had said phone numbers, one in particular.  I was very confused and super flustered. Then I had the other two tiny interviews that everyone else has and I was issued the 221g for my medical not arriving on time.  2 weeks after that they requested all of my phone records, lease information and employment history from 2015. I provided everything except the cell phone information as I'd switched companies. Then 10 days after that they requested I fly all the way back to Montreal from Alberta which I did. The second interview was with 3 people, one of whom was a private investigator of some sort. I had to sign a paper saying I was being honest and it said something about a lawyer. The first thing the investigator said was, "don't worry you're not under arrest" I was like....#######?  I gave them my entire life story from the day I was born, all the jobs I'd ever worked at, all my previous relationships, all about my family, everything. They asked some very odd questions about my past relationships, if I was ever forced into anything I didn't want to do, ever told to make more money, if any of my exes wanted revenge on me... It was TERRIFYING. Then....at the very end, they asked if ever in 2015 was I ever involved in any illicit activities specifically of sexual nature. I was shocked. Turns out, the number I currently have was flagged as being on an escort website back in 2015. Thankfully I had another number at that time and had gone through old emails and had proof. After about an hour and a half of questioning and me answering,  they said they had no concerns and could see me and my husband were very happily married and  I was issued my visa 17 days later. I had no clue what was going on with having to go for a follow-up interview and never in my WILDEST thoughts did I EVER think that something like this would happen and I've never heard of anything like it.  I'm still a little bewildered by the whole experience but I'm so happy it's over.

Di you book the appointment for the second interview as well?

No, they sent me an email stating they wanted a follow-up up interview with the time and date of said interview. They asked me to reply to confirm which I did.

I read in another thread that it is better to endorse the visa before moving with all your belongings.

I read that as well. Many people will activate the green card process then return to Canada to finish work/finish packing and tie up any loose ends.

Yeah, I mean in the circumstances we are in, we aren't left much choice on that anyway, unless you are just ready to go with no notice to anything or anyone at a given moment.

Just received the copy/paste robo like email from OP03 as a response to my email sent last week. Still says my case is under "administrative processing", not review, and my case status was not updated on CEAC upon receiving this email.
