Based on the spreadsheet created by Danii, we have data on 10 applicants who were interviewed prior to October 31st and received AP / DS5535, out of those 10 only 3 have been approved, other 7 are still waiting. I am one of those 7.  Having said that, I am sure most applicants are not on this website so we will never know the true figures.

When they email you "a Consular Officer is currently reviewing your case," is that also generic, or is that more positive than the usual "you're currently under AP" type of thing?

someone else reported that they got a similar reply as you about a day and a half ago.

hard to tell if this is their new response or they are actually doing something with your case

Two fonts were used in the email, the beginning was different than the rest. It's still copied and pasted, but maybe they paste related material to what's actually going on. Positive thinking is all I got.

I believe that's one of their generic responses, esp if you got it from OP03.

Their response to each of my inquiries (up until last week) was "Your case is pending to be reviewed by a consular officer" aka it still hadn't been touched since my medical was received. I think yours is a lot more of a positive response since it's being handled by someone.

Thankfully it changed to "we are looking into your case" this week.

Perhaps the "we are looking into your case" response is even better. I received my last 2 emails from OP11.

The consulate received my wife's passport on the 25th; I just checked the CEAC portal and status is still refused. Really hoping it will change soon and she will get that damn tracking #
