Dear all,

I hope you are fine,

I come to US with K1 Visa, and i get marry here in US within 90 days, but still i did not apply for green card, because i had issue with my wife,

unfortunately yesterday we both separated and she apply divorce here in California,

Now i am living in US without documents, is there anyone who can guide me, what i should do now?

could i apply for asylum here?

Thanks

Entry on a K-1 does not prevent one from seeking asylum.

OP, considering that you did marry and then everything went to hell, do you think you might have a case for a VAWA claim rather than asylum?

In either case, I recommend you get a good immigration lawyer for this, neither asylum nor VAWA nor any other options that remain open to you are things I'd recommend DIYing.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.
