Hi guys.

I just started filing online the N400, at the point where  my address was asked, it was also noted that I will need to wait 3 months before applying for naturalization once I change my address. Now, I moved at the end of January 2020 from NYC to LA, right before the pandemic, I have never thought to notify the USCIS of my new address in CA, but I have obtained a CA driver license last year, and filed my taxes here in CA. Wouldn't the USCIS know by now my new address? Because the current insanity is going on now days, I'm afraid something will change soon, and I want to start the process soon here in LA. However, work may take me in another state at the beginning of next year. Would you guys just update USCIS of my new address now, or just wait when/if I move to another state next year?

thank you

*3 months from the date that you moved to CA. So you can file the N-400 now: https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-d-chapter-6 Your CA driver's license and the tax filing would be proof of that.

In addition to filing Form N-400, also file an AR-11 change of address: https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do
