I filed my petition for fiance visa and recieved my receipt on Oct. 2nd 2006. My petition was approved and forwarded to the embassy on Jan 25th 2007 but, my fiance didn't get an appointment at the embassy untill May 29th of 2007. We waited 7 months for her to get in front of a Visa officer only for her to get turned down. She says that the Visa officer asked if I had visited her since the time we met in the United States. She said no, and the Visa officer rudely told her that she was trying to commit visa fraud and that they are sending the case back to the NVC. Boy did that make me upset. Well since then I have visited my Fiance overseas and my case status has been updated to read that I have been sent a letter requesting additional evidence. That RFE letter was sent back on May 31st according to the Website, yet I haven't recieved it yet. I opened a service request on the missing letter only to be told that they don't know how long it will take to resend the letter. Anyone out there have any idea how much longer this whole thing will take? :help:
