Hello everyone,Check this out!!! I was checking the processing time for the I 130 U.S. citizen filing for a spouse  today for California service center and the time dropped from 28,5  to 38,5 to just  6,5 to 8,5 months,

Am I dreaming or it might be a mistake from USCIS personel? I'm acssecing here from Brazil, have anyone else seeing the same?

Absolutely Amazing.  The word on the street was the NVC was taking 2 weeks to create a case once the I-130 was approved.  Ours was approved on March 10. I just opened The Welcome email from the NVC.  That's 4 days.  WooHoo.

Hi all

Just wanted to share a bit of information related to the change in processing times.

The processing time for I-130 is calculated using the cycle time methodology so it doesn't necessarily reflect how much time it actually takes to get NOA2. The method is explained here.

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/more-info

I'm assuming the change is just due to a change in how they distributed cases to each center last month. Or they transferred a bunch of cases.

Mine's at California so still keeping fingers crossed though!

Well, actually it does, it says the maximum time they will take to process your case under normal conditions, anything taking longer than the maximum time is up for inquiry, so they base those medium times on the amount of cases they processed and sent to other departments, so I-130s are getting fast, supposedly.
