i am freaking out k-1 petition not delivered!!!!

i mailed our petition on 07/06. i checked usps tonight & this is the results from the track & confirm on the usps website:

I got the exact same message when I sent mine in. Don't freak out...seriously. It will be delivered.

You could try giving the USCIS a call and see if your information is on file with them, but give it a week or so. Don't worry too much, it will get there.

pg.4 of the instructions says if you live in oklahoma to send it to texas.

USCIS will accept Forms I-129F, I-131, I-140, I-360, I-485, I-765 and I-907 filed with the new “Direct

Filing” location in advance of the July 30, 2007 effective date, that are otherwise properly filed.

No need to worry, this happened to me and many other people. This is common. It will be signed for in a day or two. Hang in there and good luck. By the way, you did the right thing by sending it to Texas.

Yup, there are a lot of automated messages when you call up, but there are also options to talk to customer service reps. I have heard that quite a few people hang up when they hear so many of the auto responses. We've called a few times and got through to speak to someone every time, though it does take about 5 mins to go through all the correct channels (ie, enter the right numbers) and auto responses. Keep in there!

Yes, I did. It was delivered the day after I received the message you got today. I've read this happening to a lot of people.

I agree, you did the right thing. The form still says to send it to Texas (we did the same). We sent ours on April 27th and it didn't get to the USCIS until May 15 (though we did send it from Ireland as my fiance and I live here). Don't worry, it will get there.

Sorry but you both are incorrect. You can file at Cali or Vermont NOW, before July 30th.
