It depends on the specific circumstances such as the joint sponsor's household size, etc.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Great.  It also depends on the joint sponsor's CURRENT income, not what was reported for last year.  In addition, the joint sponsor, as well as the primary sponsor, MUST be current on all income taxes for the last 3 years.

Im the applicant , my wife the primary sponsor does not meet the minimum income in her tax 2020 and 2019 too but now her income is 26k ( above the 21.755k) MY wife lives alone and no independant also

we have a letter from my wife boss with the 26k , some paystubs

this why we used the joint sponsor who made 41k last year in her tax transcripts but she changed her job on 2021 to be 22k

so we still need to find another Joint sponsor ?

I 864 and the form itself says:

 question 23b

My total income(adjusted gross income on Internal Revenue Service(IRS)

not gross

so,  I would say after the adjustments she will not meet the requirements as she gets to deduct on IRS returns 12400 from the 22K if MFS or 24800 if MFJ

So,  yes she should line up a joint sponsor

Hello
1- my wife dont meet the income in her tax 2020 , 19 , 18 but since april 2020 she have a letterhead n paystubs proove that her current income is 26k for two household , my wife lives alone , she dont have dependents only me.
2- we think to use her friend which her tax 2020 is 41k , but 2021 she changes her job her current income now is 22k on her letterhead from her job with paystubs as proofs , the friend is single lives alone , no dependents
3 - we think also to use my wife boss who own a businees which his wife is a partner n they filled jointly thier taxes.
4 - the boss have 5 households ( himself the wife , 2 kids n me ) his tax 2020 is 41k

So whats the best option ? Does i need to proiveds the tax of the boss wife ? Does i need her to fill out the i864a ?

Thats all

if that is gross income,   23b question asks for Adjusted gross income

so take the adjust of either $12400  or 24800 from 26K

3.   need personal tax returns not the business ok?

4.  and joint ,  yes   both need to send a form
