Hi Everyone,

I will be adjusting my status from tourist visa. Already, my i130 was approved and filled and signed i485 along with i765 & i131. My questions are,

1. Can I assemble and include all the forms in the same envelope? or do I need to file each and every form separately?

2. What is the name of the envelope that I need to use? Any suggestions on the envelope? And where can I get it from?

3. What to mention on the envelope? And do I need to mention "from" details? and is there anything else I need to include on the envelope?

4. What is the best courier to send my packet (USPS, UPS, DHL or FedEx)?

Please guide me. I'm clueless.

I am also from B2 visa.

If you can put up all the forms and supporting documents in envelope sure. But my personal experience i cant get anything big enough that i re-use an amazon box for sending my package. I am filing concurrently so there's so much file and attachment (included 3 years of my husband tax which nearly 100 page i think). I just want to send complete one, so no delays because of too many RFE.

On the box on top left is my address and bottom right the USCIS address. I get smaller envelope at the UPS store for the forms (i-130+i130a one envelope, I-485,+I-864 Affidavit of Support+I-693 Medical Examinations one envelope, I-131 Application for Travel Document+I-765 Employment Authorization one envelope).

I use UPS for sending it and i use tracking for it.

Below link from USCIS directly was very helpful for me. It will answer your question # 1 and 3. Regarding question #4, we have a small business and based on experience I would not trust my life with USPS. UPS is OK for low value items and FedEx is the gold standard. I used FedEx because this was something that I did not want USPS to screw up.

I agree. We sent our AOS package overnight and it arrived hours earlier than planned. I have read some disappointing stories of USPS with AOS packages going missing and delayed in some old threads here. We wanted guaranteed delivery and as my husband has a business account with them it was a no-brainer to use them.
