A K1 does not submit I130 unless they married after 90 days.

Have you friend join and post in the correct forum if they are not a K1 as this forum is for K1 AOS.

Posting for your friend is not helpful as our answers are based on YOUR timeline posted and you are a K1.

Noa1 can take up to 30 days from the date the shipment was RECEIVED, not sent.

You may not contact them before 30 days and should not worry.

If they WERE a K1 and submitted an I130 they may expect their forms to be rejected however nothing they can do until they are.

Oh boy.

Not hearing anything for 3 days is making your friend worry?  There are many things associated with immigration.  Speed is not one of them.

NOA1s have been taking up to 8 weeks, I-765 will take about 8 months, I-485 will take over a year.

Have your friend create a profile and timeline.  It can help him/her get some ideas about what to expect and when.  Also, it's free.))

Did you confirm from tracking that it was delivered?  These things take time to be received, especially with NOAs.

Another reason for your friend to join.  Less back-and-forth through a 3rd party and less chance for errors and mis-statements.
