Generally speaking each time you hit submit, that date then becomes your new submission date, so each time you submit you go back to the end of the queue and wait the 82~days, but there has been a report from a member that submissions before NVC review do not affect your place in line and this person was reviewed according to their original submission date. Hope you're lucky enough to have the same experience.

as far as W2 is concerned, generally speaking W2/1099s are not required if you submit the tax transcript, BUT reports from many members on here show that the NVC review and then ask for all W2/1099s for the current tax year regardless of the situation, it seem that seeing either the W2 or 1099 or a statement explaining why a W2 and 1099 are not present is part of their process. If you are just submitting or have recently submitting I would do yourself a solid a ensure you submit all W2/1099 or a signed statement explaining why there are no W2 or 1099 for the sponsor, this will save you months in waiting (after a re-submission).

well my wife is the petitioner as she is a US citizen having her parents over, she doesnt work and I submitted myself as househould member I864A since i am her husband and will be supporting them. so although we have our taxes filed jointly she doesnt work and i am the breadwinner. i would imagine NVC seeing me have a I864A attached and my income being more than enough wont require them to ask my wife where her W2 and all is or an explanation stating she doesnt work.

i submitted a W2 to add to my AOS documentation just to avoid NVC saying they needed it, since they havent reviewed the documents yet, as i submitted around 9/20ish, does this still keep me in that time slot?

Just wanted to let you know I was in the same position as you. I remember coming across your post when I was seeking answers.

I Originally submitted September 18. Then submitted my W2 on October 27th. Got DQ’d on time for the September 18 submission date.
