Don't know how I missed this.  Although I don't use this ammo, the ban will drive prices up across the board.

 

Now Biden is seeking to punish gun owners and at the same time chastise Russia by further banning the importation of firearms ammunition even as the country faces the greatest shortage of cartridges it has ever seen...

Old news, but not really a big deal IMO.  The current ammo shortage is about the only time I'd buy Wolf ammo, or any other steel casing ammo, in fact.  What we NEED is for the primer/powder/case shortages to end.
 

There are other commodities we get from Russia that are much more important.

This is old news but I only found out about it about a month ago tbh with you. It has certainly made the cost go up almost $200 per 1k rounds. 

The vast majority of my stockpile of AK ammo is steel.

Yeah, I don't own an AK, but someone close to me does, and I just found out last night that AK ammo is getting almost as ridiculous now as other calibers.  I finally caved and ponied up for several thousand rounds at today's prices.  Makes me sad, but not as sad as unpreparedness would make me.
