I-130a Additional Information Signature

I am working on the I-130a for my wife, who I live with overseas.  We needed extra pages for the "Additional Information" part, and the instructions say to sign the attached additional pages.  However, the I-130a instructions say that the spouse beneficiary does not sign the I-130a if they live overseas.  So my question is, who if anyone should sign the attached extra pages of additional information?  Also, is there any harm in having her sign the I-130a given that we live together abroad?

It actually says does not need to, which is very different from "does not".

If they can, the spouse should sign the I-130a. The extra clause is for couples that live apart and signing the form would cause delays.

If you live together, there is no reason for your spouse not to sign the I130a.  That statement for the spouse's signature requirement assumes you live in separate countries.
