My parents are US citizens….but we are trying to get B2 visas for my wife’s Russian parents…in the Tel Aviv US consulate. I don’t need to double check any of this because we already know the routine. 
 

my gripe is we already paid for B2 visas (two of them!) in Moscow and only get crickets chirping….no real answers. State department is a bunch of thieves as far as we are concerned, same with hundreds of other Russian families that were screwed out of money they can’t even afford 

 

Israel just announced it plans to accept Russian visitors in November because of political pressure with Putin. Maybe it’s just nice words in the media but we fully expect my in laws will get a B2 visa in tel Aviv this January 2022 and immediately head to UsA for their first trip here to meet grand baby, we have waited two years and I’m just sick of these negative people 

 

also, Tel Aviv has Russian speaking staff, which is pretty much a rarity. My in laws do not speak English so this is a huge bonus for us

I'd really like to find out what the process is for doing this/getting a B1/B2 visa from Israel! Or, as you mentioned there might be some other information already on a thread here somewhere? I had tried to search for this in VJ and on google but didn't get any hits...

 

Any info regarding how to do the paperwork, file online, schedule the interview would be fantastic!

Same here. According to the DoS site, Tel Aviv wait times for visitor visas are 311 calendar days and Jerusalem is 224 Calendar Days.

Unless this changes soon, seems like its still a huge wait ahead.
