Got online access code for I-130 but unable to add case to my existing account

I got online access code for my IOE receipt for paper based I 130 in mail today.

When I logon to my existing account at USCIS and try to add the receipt, it says that You cannot add this case to your account because it has already been linked to a USCIS account.

What do I do? Do I have to create a second account in order to add this paper case? Or is there a way to add it to my existing USCIS account?

Yes, I filed my I-130 online and mailed the rest of packet in but still haven't gotten my online access codes for that.

Gotcha. But if you filed I 130 online should you not need a code? I thought codes were only for paper forms.

I filed paper I 130 . I had an online account but no online account number anywhere. So I left it blank.

Now when I try to add it to my existing account, it doesnt let me and also it doesnt let me create a new USCIS account with the same email ID.

I had the same problem , then someone mentioned because the I-130 is my husband's petition the account was husband I had to create a separate account for me and wait until USCIS send me the access code . We tried to add my case numbers to my husband's I-130 but it said we can't add it and that it was linked already .

Yes this is true. Your I 130 your account and your husband's his.

In my case I filed I 130 for my parent. So my parent got code in his name for I 485 and I got a code in my name for I 130.
