hello everyone,

my wife has been documentarily qualified since february 2021, this is the third time the are sending us a "60day wait for interview letter"

her category is F2A.

I am a permanent resident but will soon be a citizen, how long do we have to wait?  

I understand COVID saga...  it's now 38months since we embark on this journey.

I hate to tell you this, but if she only documentarily qualified in Feb 2021 she had almost a year”s worth of DQ people in front of her, from the Covid shutdowns of the embassies plus the Trump ban on F-based visas from April 2020 to March this year. If you naturalize before she has her interview date then you can upgrade her petition to IR1, and bump her up in the priority queue (immediate relatives are tier 2 and F based petitions tier 3 according to current visa prioritization https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/immigrant-visa-prioritization.html
