Question on ROM

Hello all,

 

We are confused. Does line 8 on the ROM form that states "Naturalized - Date and place of registration as philippine citizen" mean when the philippino was born and naturalized in her own country or does it mean when and where was she naturalized as a new citizen of my country in the united states? If it means the latter and she has not even been to the united states yet we leave that blank correct? Or does it mean naturalized at birth in her own country. Thank you for all your help.

Type "N/A".  Your wife is most probably a natural-born Filipino, not naturalized.  "Naturalized" refers to people who were formerly foreigners, then took the oath of citizenship to become Filipino citizens.

Thank you. I thought it was that but you know how it is when someone else is determined to say it is something else and they wont listen lol, so i thought i would ask the experts here. Thank you so much for clarification
