I have a question about MMR vaccine that bothers me. And the civil surgeon on our first appointment did not give me right answer yet.
I am from Russia and got all my vaccines  due to the calendar. In my shot records its mentioned that  I had measles vaccine twice (03/03/1998 and 05/20/2003), mumps vaccine twice (06/09/1998 and 05/20/2003) and rubella vaccine twice (04/16/2007 and 01/15/2010). As you can see I had these vaccines all separately on different dates. In the form I-693 its mentioned that they require: MMR (measles, mumps-rubella) or if monovalent or other combination of the vaccines are given, specify vaccines.

The civil surgeon (his nurse) told me that he never met situation like that and  i have to have two MMR, and it can be confusion that i have them all in different dates and separately. But i dont think that he is right,  if someone ever had such situation as me? I want to know for sure, If there is any problem that I got them all separately or I have to have MMR? Does it makes any difference?

CDC says for immigration purposes the following" and doesn't mention MMR / it lists the vaccines needed and all are separately listed

https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/laws-regs/vaccination-immigration/revised-vaccination-immigration-faq.html#newcriteria

The MMR is for USC children mostly as a second dose after initial shot (which can be separately given here)

My husband has the same, I just happen to have his vaccine sheet from his immigration medical nearby. He got them all separately and on different dates exactly as your case (twice each.) He had zero issues doing the medical exam.

It sounds like it fits under "other combination" so I don't see the problem. I think you are right and the civil surgeon is wrong. These vaccines would've been accepted by the Embassy in Moscow, exactly as my husband's were.

I think every country sometimes had different children and adult vaccine. In my country the MMR vaccine also not as one shot (cmiiw just make sure of this).

I think the one that you got in Russia was first and booster vaccine which is normal.

I redo all my vaccination that i got during my childhood as i dont have evidence for it. I did the titer tho for the Varicella because i got it as a baby, as results i dont need to redo the vaccine because the lab show i got the antibody.
