I was chatting with the US visa help desk just to ask for a status update because my fiancé’s visa still says “ready” for interview. They told me I had to submit a request because he has “duplicate profiles” in their system to have them remove the duplicates. Has anyone else had that happen??

Yes we had this issue. They asked us to email the ustraveldocs email and have them remove an old profile for a tourist visa. Sent a scanned copy of the passport and gave them the ID number for the K1 visa profile.

Got fixed same day.

My fiancé has never applied for another US visa and we made his account together when we did his DS160.
