Hey guys again asking do we need covid test to cross the border by land ?

No.

I am not a lawyer and nothing I say is or should be taken as legal advice.

Just checking in after a while to see if I still have the correct Canadian police certificate as shown in the screenshot below? Not sure if anything has changed in last few months. Anyone who has recently submitted docs to NVC or got DQed please confirm if the Canadian police certificate shown below is the right one? Inviting @Hawk Riders to advise. Thanks!

Was approved at my interview this morning! Thank God, this process is almost over.

Just a heads up for those taking their own pictures for the passport photos - my pictures weren't good enough (background wasn't white enough and apparently poor quality) so I was given an hour or so to go find a place that would take new ones for me. There is a Pharmaprix next door that would take them but they open at 9 and I had to be back by 9. Fortunately, we found a passport photo specific place that opened at 8:30 and it was only $20 for 2.

This looks like the right one. Mine was from last October and they accepted it this morning.

Congrats on the approval!! Would you mind keeping me updated when your status changes and tracking info? I’m still anxiously waiting for my passport to be returned!

Yes, this is the correct Police certificate for Canada. I was DQ’d in may 2021.

Make sure you get police certificates for canada every name you have ever held.

Just came out of my Montreal consulate interview. Everything seemed good until the very end when the officer informed me that they were sending me to administrative processing. No particular reason, but the paper say not in compliance with 221(g) or something to that effect. I have no idea why that would be. Very bummed out now. It’s a very disappointed feeling i have right now.

Just received my passport in the mail! We go the tracking number on Friday and it was just delivered today around 1:15pm, in Vaughan ON.

I am flying tomorrow to be with my wife and will update everyone how POE goes!

Wishing the best of luck for those still awaiting interviews, tracking links, and passports!

Sorry to hear about that, is there any wrinkle in your situation which you might believe caused them to send to additional processing?  Please keep us updated for what they additional processing requires.
