Question for you guys:

My wife did her interview and has her passport back and the immigrant visa page is in it. She is due to fly from Toronto to Chicago where I will be picking her up to be here in the U.S. permanantly. I think I may have heard some talks of there bing another interview or something  before she leaves at the airport. Is this true? Is ther anything else we should prepare her for? I want this to go as smooth as possible for her.

I know it’s only been 3 days, but my status still says “Ready”, while someone else who interviewed on Wednesday had a status change already. Patience is not easy.

hey! my status has been ready for 3 weeks now and I interviewed on Oct 25 and was approved at interview.. I sure hope you're not following my path, but do keep us posted.

She has to go through secondary at customs as a new immigrant. Review the FAQ, p14 & 15!

I truly hope we don’t have to wait that long. My toddler needs to get back to her dad, and I need my husband and dogs.

FAQ has been updated with a timeline for visa issuance after DS-5535 if anyone is curious (only 1 timeline so far which took ~45 days).

Yes, I remember last month it came around 9:30 to 10:30 at night, which was an anomaly. We hadn’t seen that before. You have a point, it may still come tonight. Guess we just have to keep refreshing…

I had my interview on Nov 10th and my status on the CEAC website still says ready for interview and hasn't been updated since the. 10th. Should i be worried?

Hi - I had my interview on the 25th of October, was approved and it still says 'Ready' 3 weeks later. Hoping you don't have as long of a wait, but they say you need to wait the 2-3 weeks the officer quoted you on before you can really contact  them. I contacted them via email already 3 times in the past week.
