Anyone else who was DQ'ED mid feb still waiting for an IL? I have been checking the NVC website religiously and they updated it May 1st saying that most cases DQ'ED in January have interviews which hasn't changed from last month.

I was DQ'ED Feb 17th.

DQ’ed on feb 13, still waiting for an interview letter. Some people DQ’ed in feb has already gotten their letters.

I was DQ'ed Feb. 1st and received my IL Apr. 12. A friend of mine was DQ'ed I think the 16th of February but has not received his IL. From what I've seen the last few months, it looks like they generally send out IL's once a month around the middle of the month on about a Wednesday or Thursday. So my guess is that those of you DQ'ed mid-February should be getting your IL's perhaps as early as May 10, and likely not later than May 18.

When is your interview date?

I’m behind you all, DQ’d March 16th and obviously no IL yet.

Keep us updated!

My interview is June 26.

Forgot to mention - those receiving interview letters this month will likely have July interviews.

Does the montreal embassy require an original copy of the petitioner's birth certificate? The embassy website says "if applicable."

I was equally confused by this.

I had my spouse (petitioner) original birth certificate at the interview but they didn't want to see it.

Are you waiting on Montreal? I believe they were issuing interview letters for around that DQ time. Hopefully yours will come soon! We DQ'd April 15. I'll be lucky to get one at Christmas at this rate LOL Yes - I'm being dramatic haha

Hello,

I have been documentarily qualified since Jan 19th, 2023. The visa class is F2b,
I see a few people over here getting their interview letters in 2 to 3 month mark, but I haven’t gotten any update yet.
I emailed the Montreal Embassy aswell, but didn’t get any reply. Since it’s been more than three months, I’m getting slightly worried now.

any one from Jan 2023 already got their interview?

that’s my biggest worry, I have an international trip (brothers wedding) coming up in July. Which ofcourse I don’t want to cancel but will have to if that’s when I get the interview.

I have been DQed since Jan 19th 2023.

Just trying to go through the thread to see where ILs are at. Looks like it was end of Jan/Early Feb got their letters last week, right? I wonder what DQ day was the cut off so I can try to get a realistic expectation for mine. I only DQd April 5 so I am thinking I'll probably get mine in July. Would be nice to know many people people get DQ'd per month though!

Congrats on everyone who get their date and I hope everything goes super smooth at the interviews :)

Hello, I have been DQed since Jan 19th 2023 and haven’t gotten any interview letter.
I see that people who have been DQed in Feb are already getting their letters.
im worried now since (A ) it’s delayed and ( B) I have an international trip coming up ( brothers wedding) which is in July and I would really be bummed if I have to cancel my tickets etc and miss the wedding if the interview happens to be around the same time :(

also after the interview do you know if we are able to pick up the passport once they have given the temporary visa or they mail out the passports? Because I heard that takes another 2 weeks :(
