Hi there,

I entered the U.S. on a CR1 immigrant visa on Friday at the Montreal airport. The CBP agent in secondary processing at the airport told me they do not stamp visas anymore as a temporary proof of admission pending the green card. He said to instead just print my I94 record with the admission number on it as a proof of legal entry.

However, I can't get an I94 record showing my admission. When I run it with my passport number, it said my last entry was months ago on a B2 visa. When I try to get a I94 with my alien number, there is no record.

any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like an ill informed CBP agent to me. You no longer have an i94 once you are a permanent resident. I'd try to schedule an appointment with your local CBP office to get it stamped.

I am not a lawyer and nothing I say is or should be taken as legal advice.

Does anyone know how long compliance letters are good for, for vehicles?  I got mine from Hyundai a month ago, and planning on moving hopefully end of October, early November if things go well at the interview!

Anybody with October interviews received their physical IL in the mail yet? Got the email but still waiting on the paper copy. If it doesn’t show in the mail, I can print the email in place of it for

the interview, right?

@Hawk Riders Can you please update mine as well. I just received an email on September 22, 2022 at 11:30 AM EST that my interview is scheduled in Montreal on November 2nd, 2022 at 9:45 AM.

Had to include the extra details because we all know we search for historical patterns in EVERYTHING lol.

Congrats to everyone else who got November interviews!

We received our interview date too! DQed July 5.

The US Visa  site isn't letting me register the appointment yet, but I believe it's been said before the website isn't updated immediately. Can someone confirm?
