Question about applying Naturalization

Hi guys, I and my wife already divorced, and this October, I can apply for naturalization based on 5 year rule. However, I am doing amendment for my tax, and the Irs said my amendment case may process on November. Can I apply for Naturalization now? Or should I wait until my amendment finish?

why would you wait?

gonna take about a year to get to the interview and you'll have amended returns by then

send in what u have now and take the amended ones to interview
