I-I30 filed July 2020 no update?

Hello Fellow Members! 

 

My brother filed a petition F2A for his daughter and wife last July 2020 and gotten no response after the confirmation of receipt of filling. I was checking the immigration timeline - it says current. Is it ok to inquire as ( outside of the processing time ). Thank you. It's been 15 months with no update or RFE. Any advices? 

Case Receipt is starting with IOE. It varies for service center too?

What service center is it? The visa bulletin may be current, but uscis needs to finish processing it before anything else can happen. Depending on service center F2A processing can take anywhere from 3 months (min at Nebraska) to 33 months (max at California), with most seemingly somewhere in the 20-30 month timeframe.  You need to know what service center it is to know if it is outside processing time, and for all except Nebraska, it is still (well) within normal processing time - other than Nebraska receipt dates for a case enquiry range from Feb 2019 to July 2019.
