I came back ending September 2021.

I went out again few days ago.

You don't have any problem as someone living in the USA under EAD/AP as far as your Covid-19 test is negative and no more than 24hrs. Before it was no more than 72hrs. Even when the border was closed, I traveled several times out and in, with my Combo card. Never had any  problem, only the second verifications that always take less than ten minutes depending of the number of people in front of the immigration officer.

I got my ead +Advance Parole card today. The ead is valid for 2 years.  Is the advance parole valid for 2 years also? Can someone explain me on this please . How long the advance parole is valid? Thanks in advance

so you have EAD that is expiring in March 2022?

if yes did you send your renewal yet?

What i understood is your EAD is expiring in March 2022. Then you need to send renewal of EAD and you will get extension of 6 months. That means until September 2022 you are fine. Is that correct?

My extension for 6 months is expiring in March 2022. Sorry for the confusion!

The AP has the same number of year as the EAD if filed together.

It's a combo card= 2 years (EAD/AP)

after vawa approval, I got 693 deficiency notice and also did biometrics again, but my 485 has not updated since fingerprints in 2019 - has anyone else seen this? does it mean it is still moving at local office?

I-693 deficiency notice is just a courtesy notice to let you know that either you didn't submit medicals or they've expired and you'll need to get new ones.

Get them done. From now on you'll either get an interview notice or an RFE if they waive the interview in your case.

Yeah that's normal, I-485 generally won't update on the page unless you get an RFE or NOID, respond to it, interview, or decision.

Hi VJers,

I have not heard back whether my I485 was indeed transferred to the 360 instead of the original I130. How can I ask my congressman to make an inquiry for me?

Do I just call the number to reach the congressman office and verbally ask them to reach out or do I need to send a formal letter to the congressman's office?

Thank you for all your help!

You can call in and ask but personally I'd find their page on the senate or house website and use the contact us form to ask for help. They should then send you a privacy release form where you'd list your information, the case information, description of the problem you have, and sign it and then mail or fax it to their office.

oh i see now.

Did your employer ask you to provided any kind of proof? If yes then have them write it for you then provide that letter to your senator or congress person to expedite.

Ok thanks for advice. Is there anything that should be included in this letter? Like “she’s going to be fired otherwise”

just the standard letter from your HR that states they have no option but to let you go if you can not provide if you are eligible to work in the USA.

Thanks @Demise - yes! I will wait before getting medicals done again. I submitted with 485 but I just wanted to make sure that it's okay that the status didn't change online... hoping for next step soon!!
