Will they simply denied the I-485  just because your waiver was not approved?

Will they not first, send to you a notice of intent to denied (NOD), stipulating the fact of medical admissibility due to Covid-19 vaccine?

By so doing, allowing you to correct the inadmissibility and got the vaccine !?

Let's those who have gone through this process say something. For as far as I know, waiver under religious basis of this covid vaccin is legal and under is the current law.

The adjudication of the waiver is seperate.  They will notify you of denial of the waiver.  You will most likely receive a RFE for the medical, and then if it is not submitted with the required information then it will be denied.  The only problem with the denial of the waiver, is that you will have to pay for your medical twice.

Thanks for the reply.

If the denial of the waiver is not always systematic, then it's good for people to know, so that they can also try it. If it passes, good. If it doesn't, then you can do the vaccine shot. For it's always better to try the option where you feel more comfortable with your conscience.

I know, few people try this Covid-19 waiver option. I will definitely be among those few if needed and see how it goes.

I heard you can reply electronically to rfe request through your USCIS account. I need to respond to an RFE for my i485. Which tab do I click on to upload docs?

You need to follow the instruction on how to submit your information on the letter.

Hello. Vawa was approved in july 2021 and have my i485 interview scheduled for Dec 9. I have already it my marriage based i485 interview in march 2019 but at that time I was missing medicals which was submitted a week later. Would my medicals still be valid for the upcoming interview?

is covid vaccination also a requirement for the interview. How can applicants go about it if unvaccinated?

Hi all.

Just received this I-485 transfer notice of action.

I filed for vawa ending Feburary 2020.

Knowing that Vermont is now taking some decisions on some January 2020 vawa filers, what can I expect next according to my timeline transfer?

Does it mean that my case ( I-485) will now  henceforth be adjusticated by Vermont ?

Once you VAWA will approve. Vermont will transfer your file to NBC. NBC then send it to your local field office.

Your medical is not valid anymore.

does not your interview notice mentioned anything about medical?

I believe vaccination is required now.

Because you filed VAWA Vermont is the gatekeeper for all of your applications, so they transferred it to them.

It is up to the Civil doctor to document that you are unvaccinated, and they will write their determination on that since you fo not have a vaccine waiver.
