Hi Family, hope everyone doing great. 

Have a question, My EAD/AP expiring in May 2022. I will be filing renewal in Jan 2022. I filed my VAWA in May 2020. Now, If my VAWA will get approved before C-09 EAD/AP approval, will they reject my EAD/AP with C09? If they reject my renewal and VAWA will get approve, can i still file for renewal of C09 later? C-31 do not provide AP. TIA, god bless you, May god give strength to all of us in process.

If your VAWA gets approved while C09 EAD/AP pending. Then they will only deny your EAD application not the AP. 

You can always file for C09 EAD/AP even after the VAWA approval.

Does anyone know how long it takes for i485 after VAWA approval in New York? I intend to fly on advance parole for 3 weeks at the end of December. Should I not travel on the off chance my interview is scheduled while I am away? My VAWA was approved April 2021. Thanks

NYC is taking around 14-18 months  Earliest I have seems is 10 months.

Which forum? Thank you, I saw one May 2020 approved as well, again, it depends on agent who is handling our case.

Hey vj family. I am preparing documents for the NOID I received, the 33 days to respond is on December 7. I Heard that there's an extension of all NOID and RFE for 60 days due to covid, is that true?

Please note FOIA takes close to 6-8 months, that was pre-covid, hope you will able to get it soon or i dont know if their is way to expedite it.

You should be fine since you say it’s just for 3weeks. Keep an eye on your status for any updates. 👍🙂

yes you can always request C09.

If you did not request C-31 then they will not send you. You will only get VAWA approval.
