Should I do it myself then?

What is your lawyer going to do differently to obtain it?  You can go on USCIS website and request it.

It is Sunday, and time for our approval- and good-news-evoking Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke:

----------------------------------

A BLONDE BY ANY OTHER NAME

A blonde walked into an electronics store and said to the salesman, "I want that TV."

The salesman shook his head and said, "No -- we don't sell to blondes."

The blonde left and came back with her hair dyed brown.  She said, "I'll take that TV."

Again, the salesman said, "No -- we don't sell to blondes."

The blonde left again and came back with a hat, a fake nose, and her hair dyed black, and said, "I want that TV."

The salesman said, "Sorry -- we don't sell to blondes."

Finally the blonde got fed up and said, "That's it!  How do you keep guessing that I'm a blonde?"

The salesman said, "Because that's a microwave."

:P

Lol 😂 not all blondes are dumb! Have met very smart ones! Howdy fam!🥳

hi vj family, today I have received the request of medicals i693, thank God Senator Gillibrand helped me to inquire about my i485 and received today her email with uscis response and the rfe as pdf.

I will start this right away, so I can send it as soon as posible, it seems the interview has been waived, God is so good, God is bring justice and mercy to my life, keep praying believing, please keep me in your prayers,

I will respond this rfe through my lawyer, and hopefully USCIS will send the green card straight to my lawyers office.

If you have any suggestions please let me know

God bless you all

Does the notice say to bring it to the interview or mail it in? That would give the most clue as to wether the interview may be waived or not! Keep the house updated!👍

Hey guys. Is GETTING FOIA information free or i need to pay for it? My lawyer is asking me 750$ to try get my i130 interview transcript from FOIA

I did it myself not long ago. Its free.
Your lawyer only wants your money. It’s up to you to give it to them. Personally I wouldn’t. I prefer buying an iPhone in cash than giving free money to an attorney for something i can do myself lol!

my uscis account never updated at all, i just got letter from the attorney. it started updating from the ordered new card, all the previous updates were uscis letters. Dallas

congratulations Mazi....Please could you share what the medical RFE looks like. I have the same timeline as you. I received a letter for medicals examination, which doesn't have a headline. It neither says FRE nor Courtesy Letter. My attorney said wait until interview date is given but my inner mind says send the medicals. Seeing what your letter looks like will help me make a good decision.

Thanks and God bless

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

Life is hard.

Avoid dismissing the power of prayer, friends here, and Official/Semiofficial VAWA-Thread Jokes.

In addition, consider:

 -- violent physical exercise

-- learning something new (intellectually, or a skill) in addition to your schooling

-- finding and helping someone in even worse shape than you think you're in (there's always someone)
