Hi everyone, 

i posted here couple of weeks ago abt my i485 . My vawa was approved in April 2021 n after that it was a complete silence on i485. Did a congress person inquiry and she told me that my file is sitting at NBC. Today my lawyer called me that they have received biometrics appointment for i485 in December. I have seen people getting bio appointment after vawa approval , but do they still gonna do the interview or how long does it going to take for approval?

They may send biometrics request if previous biometrics are expired.. its common

So looks like we are they have reached the November 2019 fillers and it seems to be taking about 2 years exactly from the timelines here, about right?

My vawa was approved June 2021, had biometrics Aug 31st and my I485 interview  November. You might have your interview 3-5months after then

Oakland Fort Lauderdale Fl. 
filed Oct 2016 last notic was March 2019 that they can’t proceed without my medical next March will be 2 years since. 
vawa approved Feb 2019 

 

congresman reply on i485 is that they’re doing background checks

Oh thank you.!! Mine was approved in April but it was not moving after that. I think sending the inquiry from congress person did help me with this. I hope there will be no interview. How was your interview and did you get your green card?
