Anyone knows if it's possible to request a copy of I130 interview transcript from USCIS? So that i can know what is in the file and what exactly the testimony was of me and my ex. I am writing a personal declaration and wanted to make sure I don't contradict myself even on one point

You can do a FOIA request, and see what they will release.

Hi everyone

My i360 was approved in April 2021. My lawyer didn’t get any updates after that so i did contact the congressman. She sent an inquiry last month for update and we got the answer today. USCIS said my file is still At NBC . Isn’t too long for them to be transferring my file to my local office? As it has already been 7 months since my vawa was approved. M very upset

Do you know how many days it took them to respond to  your congressman’s inquiry ?

I'm having an issue with my I-131 Renewal and I was wondering has anyone had anything similar happen to them before?

I applied for I-765 and I-131 Renewal in September 2020. A couple of weeks later, my lawyer called me and told me that they had changed the I-765 forms and that I would have to refile. No big deal. I sent back the new paperwork and it was received by USCIS in October 2020.

I received a case update in February 2021 that my new card was being produced and I received it a couple of days later. When I opened the envelope, my card was stamped with 'Not Valid for Reentry'. I spoke with my lawyer and they told me that it was probably split up due to the refile of the I-765 and I should expect I-131 approval in the coming weeks.

Fast forward to the summer and still no word from USCIS. My case has been outside normal processing time since August. My lawyer filed an outside normal processing time in September, and I still have not received any response from USCIS. I have since filed my 2nd I-765 renewal as of October 2021 which is currently pending.

Here's the interesting part: Upon looking at my receipt notices, I saw that my I-765 (which was approved in February 2021) was filed with an MSCXXXX code while my I-131 was filed with an IOEXXXX code. Looking into this, I found IOE is the electronic immigration application. Could this be why my case has not been adjudicated or responded to in over 13 months, meanwhile my I-765 (which was filed after my I-131 application) was accepted over 9 months ago?

@sandranj can i ask your professional opinion on these circumstances? Should i be pressing my lawyers for more information as to why I-765 was submitted through the NBC and my I-131 was done through the Electronic system?

I have not received my receipts yet for my EAD and AP. Do you think reaching out to senator/congressperson would help me to get the receipts notices?

that is a great question, I still havent received my EAD renewal receipt, If I were to write to congressman or write to USCIS to have it expedited, how would I specify about my ead renewal I do not have the ead renewal receipt?

Sorry to keep talking about Advance Parole on here but I've read that CBP officers may ask for marriage certificate on way back in. I am divorced and my VAWA is approved. Are the officers at port of entry familiar with VAWA? I have a renewed paper AP document and a new passport which I did not initially travel to the US with. Just want to make sure I have all the right documentation and facts before I fly. Appreciate any advice. Thanks!

I travelled three time this year on AP. They did not ask me any question regrading my case or marriage. Only one time officer asked me where i am coming from. It was very smooth for me.

Hello to you all. I need some information. My I-360 were approved on Sep 2019. after that I haven't heard back from USCIS except when i renew my work permit. I don't know if it is transferred to local office from Vermont. But today I get a biometrics appointment for 12/3/21. What does it mean? does it mean it is transferred? Do i need to do medical? (I didn't get the notice) and how long for the interview after the biometrics? Thank you!

Hi Guys, when I filed my I360 form I included a I765 form under C31 category. My I360 it seems was approved last week and uscis mail me a card yesterday. Today I received this notification with the denial of the I765. Anyone knows if something is wrong with my case , or if this is normal because my I360 was already approved?.
