I sent one but they said the one i sent is not a final decree, they need another one signed by an officer of civil status

Reposting this to get more response:

 

I have a pending I-130/I-485 (filed Nov 2020) sitting at my local field office ready for my GC interview. However, as of Sept 2021 I moved out and separated from my abuser. On Nov 5 2021 I filed my I-360 to Vermont and mailed a letter to my local field office to request them to hold my current I-485 in abeyance. I already have my EAD.

 

In my I-360 package, I have only submitted my personal declaration, a 2 page affidavit from my usual therapist that talked about my abuses/trauma, and her professional opinion on how that has affected my physical and mental safety, a screen shot convo between abuser and I where the abuser kicked me out of the house / made me to sleep outside (which I expanded on my explanation in my personal declaration). I am waiting for my police clearance records to come in and meanwhile, I am engaging a psychiatrist who is trained and specializes in performing immigration VAWA psych eval to complement my existing pool of evidence (which is very little). I will be submitting my police clearance record and the complementary psych eval later on when I receive my RFE.

 

I was mainly abused emotionally and mentally and therefore do not have any physical wounds to show for. I have no family and friends here so I have never told anyone and therefore no affidavits from people and I have never reported her abuses to police. 

 

My question is, do I have sufficient strong evidence to prove 'extreme cruelty' on grounds of mental/emotional abuse? Or has anyone submitted the same amount (quantity and quality) of evidence in the past and had gotten approved?

Good afternoon,

I got an update on my January 2021 EAD and AP renewal.

 

Both went from Received and Fees waived to RFE..

 

I send the same documents as past renewal.

 

What RFE could they send on a I-765(c9) and I-131?

 

Edit: My EAD automatic extension expires in December, after I answer their RFE how long do they take to process?

Vermont service center can take up to 30 days to reply to a Congressperson or senator's inquiry. If 30 days are up and your Congressperson still isn't bugging VSC again, then sure go to another congressperson or senator. I'm curious, what's this inquiry about?

I went to DMV to check on the driver's license USCIS said i was issued on that date and different address. DVM couldn't find any driver's license in my name issued on that date and that address. And the address that USCIS provided doesn't even exist with a wrong zip code. 2) i contacted the billing company concerning the bill USCIS said it has wrong dates. The billing company corrected the bill today and wrote me a letter explaining the glitch on the bill and gave me the all billing history during the period we lived together. @Demise @Pinkrlion

Ok, I assume this is an "out of normal processing time inquiry" that you submitted. My earlier answer still applies. Some small proportion of cases take a very long time, I hope that is not the case for you. I would keep bugging USCIS though. They deserve the extra attention so they stay on their feet. Hope you get approved soon.

When you say long time, how long in worst case scenario? Thanks for your response though

My information is only from this forum. Anywhere upto 3 years to 3.5 years in some cases. But do not stop bugging them every month. 28 months max time they quote is long enough.

Please what could be a possible reason for a pending securing checks for someone who has no criminal background?  Please share if you know. Thanks

I have also contacted my senator two weeks ago and they still haven't responded back to me. When doing the case status enquiry with NBC they are pretty fast responsive but thanks for your info now I know VSC can take 30 days to respond.
