Please,

I really understand you.

But the working permit is to allow you working in the USA.

I guess you are not a permanent resident yet neither a USA citizen.

So, if you want to work in the USA while residing in your country, I bet you, USCiS is smarter than you!

I don't think you can be going though the consular processing while working in the USA.

That is only my point of view, but those more experimented like @Stillwinning!!!😊  @sandranj  @TBoneTX and others will give their insights

Im not trying to outsmart USCIS or violate the law, I was merely asking the question of whether or not it is possible by law for a work permit holder to work remote while abroad, that’s all. Ive never violated any law, Ive never even had a speeding ticket in my life

It’s ok it’s not really a big deal I just wanted to know if I can make use of the work permit before expiring, but not worried about not being able to work while abroad. Thanks for the insight tho

Got you very well. This is a general forum. that's why we are trying to be very prudent and also educatives while giving our answers.

You're still abroad and will be undergoing a consular processing.

May be trying to get a Visa in order to enter USA and adjust your status.

As I mentioned before, those more experimented will give the correct answer.

I do appreciate your response ❣️ I’m just explaining that I’m not trying to violate the law, I was just wondering if it’s actually permitted to work.

The consular processing is the adjustment of status, when I am granted the visa hopefully soon, that’s automatically a green card. When Arriving at the airport the officer will just ask for an address so they can mail the green card within weeks. There’s no adjustment of status after the immigrant visa. Hoping for a speedy process for us all  🍀
