Hello all please I need your help! Can I expedite my EAD online? I just got a job offer and I have reached out to my senator and congressman but no response from them yet. If I can expedite it online can I please get a link that I can use? Thank you!

Sorry to hear that you can't reach out your congressman or senator.

Unfortunately, due to the sensitivity of vawa cases, they can't process any queries online. They will just acknowledge it and then, send you a response that they can't process it and that you have to write to Vermont.

So, it will be a waste of time.

You may try by sending your request directly to Vermont with all the evidences relevant to the expedition. Then wait and see what will be the outcome of it.

But I can guarantee you by experience that you will not hear anything from them at least before 30 to 60 days.

Yes you can go ahead and file i485 for yourself and your children. Please file i765 as well if you would like to obtain work authorization, and i131 if you would like to obtain advance parole to travel internationally. As long as your attorney has not listed their address as safe mailing address in previous forms, they don't need to know about what you are filing now. Please sign up for myuscis account, add all your cases when you have receipt numbers and select to receive case notifications by email or text. By the way,  will likely take a few days for Sandranj to answer based on her past response frequency.

Please advise on the complete list of forms to be filed concurrently with I-360?

Is the below list correct?

I-485

I-765

I-131

I-944 - do I need to file this?

G-28 - do I need to file this?

Thank you

Yo do not need G-28. That is use when attorney is representing you.

I know this might sound odd, but just making sure

1- is it safe to provide the case tracking number and all information on the form to contact the Congressperson?

2- can I give them my attorney’s office address instead of my address since I used my attorney’s address for my case anyway, I don’t want any mail related to my case to go to my address for safety purposes.

thank you in advance 🙏

They will not submit anything without your case number.  You can use your attorney's address.  It has been my experience that they will only email you information and responses.

Yes,  You will need to be able to fax them the proof of the job offer and proof that they will not wait until your card is issued for you to begin working.

So, just to confirm:  4 forms (I-485, I-765, I-131, I-944) in addition to I-360.

Is that correct?

I-944 is obsolete..

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

If you write a letter to Vermont they will never reply.

Thanks

i believe it is now i-912

No. It never changed to I-912. I-912 has been there all along for those who cannot pay. I-944 was introduced during Trump's reign

What if I do not have my ex cert, and have divorce cert?

Submit what you have on hand they will request more evidence if needed.

Personally I ordered my spouse 's certificate from his state records for a small fee.

The officer did not ask me for it at the interview either because it was attached or they didn't really need it.

Congratulations on your success I have a question that have you applied your citizen ship after 2 years and 9 months of getting your green card and is the marriage certificate and divorce decree is mandatory to attached with the citizenship application moreover can you please share the VAWA notification where they have allowed the VAWA green card to apply for citizen ship after 3 years of being permanent residents

I did apply after 2 years and 9 months. It is mandatory to have proof of your marital status either the marriage certificate or divorce decree, if you don't submit it and it is on the list of documents to bring to the interview.

Please find the memo in this link. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/memos/sec319a012705.pdf
