Hello dear family.

Is the first time I will travel abroad with my green card.

I have a question for when reentering the us.  What documents do I need to show to the immigration officer?  Only the green cars or do I meet to show another document as well?

Just the green card.

Best of luck and have a safe trip.

Do you guys think it's too late to recieve a response from uscis after submitted rfe (i693-medical) on Nov 5th 2021?

can I do anything at my end like send them a service request or anything?

Anyone else here waited that long ?

I am just worried and waiting is killing me like what is that now holding them back from making a some kind of decision on my case.

My timeline is

June 2017 submitted vawa with i485

Nov 2018 vasa approved

Oct 2021 recieved rfe for medical (thru senator inquiry)

Submitted rfe on nov 5th(delivered) NYC federal plaza.

I would say reach out to your congress/senator person. Service request is not much helpful.

Good morning everyone. My mom filed her I-360 in 2018 and we discovered that the lawyers did not include my sister and I on it in 2020. My mom’s case wasn’t approved yet so they sent an amendment with my sister and I on the form. We weren’t sure if USCIS would add us though. I was not 21 yet so the lawyers decided to do an I-360 for me just in case. Fast forward, we get my mom’s approved I-360 in May of 2021 and my sister and I are included. Do you think I can withdraw my I-360? I tried to expedite my I-765 and USCIS is mixing the cases up; the one based on my pending I-360 and my mother’s approved I-360. The lawyers are saying to just let the I-360 sit, but for what reason if we are on my mom’s approved I-360? Plus,  USCIS accepted green card and EAD applications that we filed based on my mom’s approval. I need my EAD and the cases are causing confusion. What do you guys think? As you can imagine, I do not trust the lawyers since I found out we were listed on my mom’s I-360 application.

If you are already on your mother's i360 approval, why not just disregard the other one?

I'm not an expert, but in this forum those with great expertise and experiences like @sandranj will give you the correct approach. But as for me, withdraw your personal case as soon as you get your green card through your mother. No need of even continuing requesting an EAD under your personal i-360 form for it will keep confusing USCIS more and more.

Has anyone had experience with getting H1B after Vawa approval, but before the AOS is adjudicated?

does H1B requires you to leave the U.S. to get an H1B stamp?

can H1B somehow interfere with current active c09/c31?

Thank you all.

H1B requires you have the visa stamped abroad  just if you leave Country . I don't understand why you want to pursue H1B visa when you have a VAWA petition already approved.

If you are 100% that  you and your sister are included  in your mom's I-360 then there is no reason to have another petition open.
