Thanking God , what a surprise? I'm crying, I am a man.

Many of you remember me. I had a 204c FRAUD CHARGE on my I-130 that came last March 2021 while my i360 was pending already. even @sandranj gave me less than 1% chance. Many people here encouraged me but gave me less chance since I had a fraud charge

I received NOID on my i360 last November asking me a list of things that seemed impossible (I posted my  NOID notice here) but I tried to gather proofs. Sent response to NOID on January 31, 22 and today booooommmm card production.  Applied i360 October, 2019.

Congratulations! WOW What what a relief!

@Stillwinning!!!😊 hi there, so I have a a question… I was having a  convo with a lawyer and he said the reason why my documents is taking so long after the vawa approval is because I don’t have a police report so now that it’s a transferred they are looking at it like there’s no strong evidence and more than likely be denied being that there is no police report for my incidence. Is that true

If there wasn’t any convincing evidence to start with, I don’t think it would have been approved. The lawyer needs to quit being unnecessarily flippant! I didn’t have a police report, so many people didn’t either and were approved. Speaking about police report are you referring to the one from the abuse et al or good moral character requirement? I had one for the GMC not for the abuse. Remember that the pace is different for each case. Don’t let your imagination run too wild. 👍😊

Great news!
looks like your case is waiting to be scheduled for an interview. They should send you an interview notice at some point.

Your case should be at a local office associated with the address that USCIS has on file for you. Have you changed addresses?
do you have a lawyer?

Hello Friends,

My I-485 interview has been scheduled (finally). Do you know what should I expect at that interview (questions about marriage, abuse, etc.)?

I've talked to my therapist (yes, I still attend therapy 4 years after abuse) and she said that would be unhealthy to talk about those details again. Someone was mentioning that they don't ask those questions again since I-360 was adjudicated. Is that correct or I misunderstood something?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

My timeline:

  • 02/2019 - I-360/I-485 to VSC
  • 05/2020 - I-360 was approved [no RFE]
  • 08/2020 - I-693 deficiency notice
  • 12/2021 - I-485 biometric at ASC
  • 02/2022 - I-485 interview scheduled

Hello Everyone,

Wanted to follow up on this and provide some feedbacks from my interview [it was yesterday at Chicago office].

The officer was very very nice and professional. He asked me for:

  • Passport
  • My current address
  • Where do I work
  • Birth Certificate and Translation
  • Medical
  • Yes/No questions from I-485

After that he said: "I need to review your case one more time and my supervisor needs to take a look after that. We will keep you posted on our decision via mail."

I guess now I have to wait until I hear from them!
