friends, I'm feeling so low today... this process is sooooo long, almost unbelievable that they make survivors of abuse to wait this long. if anything, this should be the fastest one... I'm grateful for my work (thanks to EAD) and people I love... staying patient... but just wanted to share my feelings...

Hi all, I have come to the conclusion that Uscis Vermont May not answer our queries.

But they don't ignore any request sent to them by the congressional liaison.

Do not hesitate to use this tools whenever you want an answer from Vermont vawa unit. 😀😀😀

Before Sandra comes through let me clarify some things here… it is the evaluation report from the therapy sessions that you would attach to your petition. I don’t know how long you attended the sessions before the report was made.. but it is usually after some sessions not just once or twice. It also helps your mental health (if needed) to consistently go through  therapeutic sessions. Also for your self affidavit it’s just a written account of your journey with your abuser. From when and how you met, through marriage and abuse. It’s usually very detailed.👍

You should have received a case number that you can enter into the system to track the FOIA request.

I bought my house with EAD, all my lender needed was for my EAD to be valid for at least a year. I also provided the lender with copies of my previously authorized EAD and I was able to purchase a $400k house in Colorado. Hope this helps.

Yes it helped a lot, thank you for taking the time to share your experience
