Hi VJ fam, I received this update yesterday that my C9 is been produced. I applied for C9 since April 2021. My i360 is still pending I filed Oct 2020. Still waiting for decision. Thanks everyone, your input helps give hope and patients.

I would say send the renewal now and then you will have 6 months of extension once you will get your receipts. 

 

When did you send you VAWA case?

It was breakfast time at the Smiths' house.  Linda turned to her husband Frank with an irritated look and said, "I bet you don't remember what today is!"

 

"Of course I remember!" declared Frank, and he hastily left for work.

 

When he reached his office, he immediately went to his best friend's office and shouted, "Mark, you have to help me -- I think it's my wife's birthday today and I completely forgot about it!"

 

Mark calmed him down and said that he should send his wife several gifts throughout the day.  "That way, she'll never realize that you just remembered.  Besides, pick the right gifts and you'll have a very happy woman on your hands."

 

Frank immediately did exactly that, sending his wife a beautiful dress, her favorite perfume, and even some sexy lingerie, each delivered to the house every few hours.

 

When evening came, Frank returned to the house, beaming with pride, and saw his wife with a huge smile on her face.  She said, "First the beautiful dress, then the perfume I like so much, and then even some sexy lingerie!  You really surprised me, my love!"

 

He said, "Think nothing of it, my love; Happy B..."

 

"I never thought I'd wear such beautiful clothes just to pick up my mother from the airport!"

Usually it takes 3 to4 weeks. However, lately it is taking longer than usual. I received mine after 70 days and that with the help of congress person.

That what my lawyer told me just weeks . For the extension. But I’m worried and he always telling  me no worries. Your  job can’t fire you 🙂

Ok question for those who did inquiry through senators and got response.

So NY senator made an inquiry about my case on 24th of October 2021and  Received an email-response back saying that nyc field office has issued an rfe on 22nd of October for i693. 

She forwarded that email to me with rfe(i693 notices) included in it. 

I did my medical i693 and sent to federal plaza on 05 Nov,2021(they received) after that no response and my lawyer didn't allow me to apply for renewal of work permit because she thought that I will get my green card sooner. 

BUT we never recieved any hard copy of rfe on my lawyer address. 

Do they mail rfe notices or just whatever they sent in senator email?

I would say wait 4 weeks if you do not get it then reach out to your congress person to get you receipts just to be on safe side.

It's taking nowadays 4 to 8 weeks before receiving receipt notices from Vermont.

They can't tell lies to your congressperson. I think you did not just received the mail. 

I also think that, you can respond to that RFE by using the response letter from the uscis. 

Experimented members on this forum will give you their insight on this.

The receipt itself serves as a extension.
