Thank you for your response. I do not have the documents ready to file the I-360. Can I postpone this interview and then file I-360, and then have my I-485 in abeyance? In that case, my I-485 will still be pending, and I-360 will also be filed. Because I do not want to send a weaker case for I-360 and later receive RFEs.

It's not a valid and legal reason to postpone the interview because you need time to file VAWA,and you can't lie that there is another reason, if the reason doesn't exist ok.

Whew! I need some guidance.

2018: Filed VAWA.

2020: Relocated to a different state and missed a letter that was mailed to my old address during the move. (Admittedly, my fault so I changed my address on file).

Throughout 2020 and 2021, I sent letters to USCIS pleading to resend this letter to my new address to no avail. I contacted my congressman to intervene with no help. I still don’t know what this letter entails till this day.

2021: May - applied for EAD/AP renewal. It’s been over 6 months and still waiting.

September 2021: I received C31 EAD in the mail from my I-360. It’s been 3 months and I’m still waiting on the VAWA approval letter while my EAD/AP has been pending for over 6 months.
I-485 is still in biometrics/fingerprints status since 2018!! 😮😮

Clearly, USCIS doesn’t process applications in sequence cos I’m seeing fast VAWA approvals here. I’m confused.

Do I need to take any action or seek support from my congressman?

You should contact your congressperson to inquire on your behalf regarding your I-765/I-131.

It is Wednesday, meaning it's time for our Semiofficial Semiweekly VAWA-Thread Joke (guaranteed to evoke approvals and progress, if correlation = causation):

=======================================

GOD, I HAVE A QUESTION...

God said, "Adam, I want you to do something for me."

"Gladly, Lord," replied Adam. "What do you want me to do?"

"Go down into the valley."

"What's a valley?" asked Adam.  God explained it to him, then said, "Cross the river."

"What's a river?"  God explained it to him, and then continued, "Go over the hill."

"What's a hill?"  God explained to Adam what a hill was, then said, "On the other side of the hill, you will find a cave."

"What's a cave?"  After God explained, He said, "In the cave you will find a woman."

Adam asked, "What's a woman?" So God explained that to him, too.  He continued, "I want you to be fruitful and multiply."

"How do I do that?"

"Jeez!" God muttered under His breath.  He then sighed and explained the "birds and the bees" to Adam.  Adam liked that concept very much, so he went down into the valley, across the river, over the hill, and into the cave, where he found a woman.

A little while later, Adam returned and said, "Lord... what's a headache?"
:P

HAHAHAHA.

Hell everyone I’m so confused at this moment it’s been a while since my vawa approved. I didn’t have an interview as yet I call up uscis thinking I’ll get an info pass appointment on hey say an offices will call me back however the officer call me and he ask me for al my information I give him an he say I have to write to find out what’s going on with my cases he cannot give me an idea what will happen. I’m a 2017 filer my vawa approved in 2020 February. I also contacted congress person they send a letter to uscis so I just don’t know if this would be the result of not getting any updates.

USCIS will not  answer your letter,  but  they will answer the congressperson .

Hello Sandra @sandranj and Everyone,

My i360 was approved 2 years ago ( January 2020) and there is no update since then . I dont know if my case was ever transferred to local office(nyc). I contacted congress many times and I receive the same answer from uscis - security check.. Senate - never responded with the answer ,still pending. I went to info pass to ask where my case is and if any updates- the answer was " we can't tell you that information" ,so they didn't give any information at all. What are my other options ?What would you recommend ?

Thank you in advance

You just have to wait, I had 5/7  cases the security check took 3 years.

Did you go to the link?   The appeal decisions absolutely are public record.  .   Identities are kept to initials, but there is a lot one can discern about  the process used to evaluate cases, which is what the person I responded to was asking about.

Pls What is the link to the appeal decision records?

You can read appeal decisions from the AAO office on USCIS.gov.  Just go to the 'A to Z' topics, and its right at the top under AAO.  You can search on non-precedent AAO decisions based on form/case type.

Thank you.

You  will be considered a public charge after you become a green card holder, not as a VAWA petitioner.

I meant will these vawa information and files be available to the public at one point of our lives?

I read some of the appeals. It is so scary that they even deny so many evidence and are so strict on interpreting the evidence.
