Hi,

I am a US Citizen (Petition for Family based) and have filed for my mom's green card that got approved on April 2020. Now my mom has moved to my sister's place in different state and city. My sister wants to update the petitioner info since she is taking care of my mom now. She is asking me for all my documents that i filed with USCIS. I am not comfortable giving her all my documents since it has all my personal info. My questions are,  a) Is it possible to change the petitioner after GC is approved, if yet then what's the process? b) Do i need to provide my personal documents to my sister? c) I never created an online account with USCIS so how can she change the address to her address?

Appreciate all the helps.

No. Too late now. No switching of petitioners after GC issued. Don’t need to give her anything.

And green card holder is obligated by law to update their address within 10 days if moving. Form AR-11 on uscis.gov.

ROC 2009
Naturalization 2010

If your mom is already here in the US, your I-130 petition no longer matters.

Your sister can help your mom change her address with USCIS (AR-11), but that has no bearing on you.

The only thing that still applies is your I-864. You are still on the hook if your mom goes on public assistance.

The next steps for your mom is applying for citizenship or renewing her GC in 10 yrs.
