i am pretty sure this question has been asked before. I'm still getting a feel for how this website works.

But I am finishing up with the k1 visa. I am the petitioner. To my understanding, I know that everything needs to be wet signature. However,  How do I go about this having my fiance sign documents if he is abroad? Will Docusign work?

Where have you read that everything needs to have a wet signature?   Scanned signatures are fine.  I would not use Docusign....

An electronically reproduced original signature is a scanned signature.

Docusign is neither a wet signature nor an electronically reproduced original signature.

I don’t know where you are in the process but wet signatures from the beneficiary for the I-129F are not needed.

For the I-129F, the only signatures needed from beneficiaries are their signatures on a “Statement of Intent to Marry Petitioner within 90 Days of Entering the USA on a K-1 Visa”.  The beneficiaries need only sign such statements on a sheet of paper and send the petitioners an electronic image of that statement. The petitioner then prints it and includes it in the I-129F package.

Once the I-129F is approved, for consular processing the the situation is reverse.  Petitioners need only provide an electronic image of the signed “Statement of Intent to Marry Beneficiary within 90 Days of Entering the USA on a K-1 Visa”, and the beneficiaries just print those out.

There is an issue with I-134.

Some consulates want a wet signature and some don’t care.  If the couple cannot meet between the time the interview is scheduled and the actual interview, then my advice is to peruse the country specific forum for an answer as to how the consulate handles this. If the answer is wet I-134, not known, or no consistency, then I advise you to learn how to send stuff to your beneficiary with DHL or FedEx or whatever courtier is best for that locale. It can be a challenge with some countries having immature postal addresses and your beneficiary will know how it works.

Neither USCIS nor State are set up to accept Docusign and this will be a waste of money and time and likely get an RFE or a denied petition.

Thank you sooo much for this advice! I was really worried on how to go about it because i thought they wanted signatures on everything, including the beneficiary signatures. But only for the "statement of intent to Marry". thank you so much for your help!
