Visa Medicals - Extra Documentation

 Share

Hi,

I've noticed that on the Visa Medicals website they ask you to bring a copy of a GP report for any Psychiatric conditions.

I was wondering whether anyone could let me know what extra documentation (GP condition summary etc.) they have provided for Psychiatric conditions, what information was within the document(s), and whether the Visa Medicals team were satisfied with that documentation?

Thanks

They want  to hear it from a medical professional who knows you —when, what, meds,  treatment, is it ongoing or does he think you are fine now. A brief explanation. The most important thing is for your GP to say you “are not a threat to yourself or other”. The visa medical guy needs to be assured of those words.
