I feel like I've been lost

I filed 751 in November 2019.

July 2nd 2021 they sent a request for more evidence, which I provided and more.

July 30 2021 they sent me a message saying they have received my evidence.

August 25th they sent a message saying it was transferred to my local office (no idea which one) to have an interview scheduled.

I never recieved the notice for an interview, and on September 25th I submitted the "Missing notice" form as instructed. They said they would get back to me by 10/15, which is today, I have heard nothing.

I submitted the "Case outside normal processing time" form as according to the USCIS website it is now outside the normal processing time. No response there either.

I don't know what else I am meant to do at this point. I don't even know which office it was transferred to.

Can anyone share some advice or words of wisdom? The stress of having this over me is really starting to take it's toll mentally and physically.

Just because your case was transferred to your local office ( you can look that up on the USCIS page, there is a zip search) doesn't mean a interview was scheduled. Your case is on a pile waiting for a free interview slot. You're unfortunately not the only one with such a long wait time. All you can do is wait and if you're outside normal processing times send inquiries like you already did. You could get your congress person involved to inquire for you, too.

The local offices go by the address you listed in the I-751.  For example, for Baltimore MD zip code 21201, the local office is:

Baltimore (BAL)
Location Address:
3701 Koppers Street
Halethorpe, MD 21227

Here's the link for the field office locator:

@crazykiwi Do you desire to be a US citizen? If you’ve been married for three years to a US citizen you can file N-400. At some field offices, the N-400 will be allowed to proceed to the interview stage and this will accelerate the I-751.

I have an N-400 in since March. It seemed to jump start the 751 application. At this rate I will have my citizenship interview before the green card (5 months to wait according to USCIS website).

I feel so trapped here. I can't go visit my family, I can't change jobs nothing.

I filed my I-751 mid December, 2018 and have my interview on the 20th of this month. I wouldn't worry too much! Plus, like the others have said filing the N-400 in July seems to have sped mine up. No updates since the Biometrics up to then.

Cool.  Most likely you your N-400 interview will be a combo interview.

If you want to travel, or change jobs call USCIS, say “info pass”, and request an I-751 stamp on your passport to let you travel or change jobs.

This is most likely why the I751 was transferred to your local office.  As @Mike E mentioned, you will most likely have a combo interview.  My wife went through that back in 2018, and the IO spent a total of about 3 minutes on the I751.  With the N400 in process, the I751 sort of becomes a formality, it still has to be finalized, but in the end, the Naturalization Certificate trumps a 10 yr GC (in my wife's case, they did not even issue a 10 yr GC).  Also, you can get the ADIT stamp if necessary like if changing jobs, or for international travel.

Good Luck!

You can change jobs or travel with a pending I-751.

Not sure if this helps, but I guess so you know there are others on the same boat as you...

May 2019 - Applied for I-751
Feb 2020 - Got a notice that my case was being transferred to Potomac

Mar 2020 - Applied for N-400 citizenship

May 2021 - Contacted my congressperson to ask for help

Jun 2021 - Received an update from my congressperson that my case is still pending

And now OCT 2021 --- still no updates :(

My I-1551 stamp is expiring in DEC 2021 :(

If the country flag on your profile is correct, the inability to travel to visit family is 100% due to NZ's COVID quarantine policy, not your ROC process.

You are not trapped.  You just need to get valid evidence of your status.  We got an ADIT in my wife's passport. 24 hours after I called USCIS for an infopass appointment, she had the stamp, and we were leaving the USCIS office.
